# Withdraw G-tokens

Users should keep G-tokens in Vaults to be counted for governance rewards. However, users may have a demand to exchange/sell peer-to-peer/move to another wallet/redeem G-tokens. To do so, users can withdraw G-tokens out of Vaults. 

Here are steps to withdraw G-tokens out of VIP or Regular Vault.

**Step 1:** click the `Vault` <img src="/files/6azvW7KKUZVp0AvRE8u0" alt="" data-size="line">button in the section "My total governance token"
